Railways around Stalybridge and the famous Stalybridge Station buffet bar.
Denton Junction to Audenshaw
The route from Stalybridge to Diggle offers some breathtaking opportunities for photographers. The stations are quaint, the vantage points are many and the railway boundary remains blessedly free of the metal railings that abound these days. Unfortunately, although frequent, the trains offer little of interest to the photographer. Worth visit to catch the occasional freight or special though.
