Notes
1. This location/junction was absent from the Western Lines Sectional
Appendix, but there was a branch from the Settle - Carlisle line that could have
only come out here. I can only assume that the omission was
a mistake. If I am correct then Appleby Junction was controlled by a separate
signal box.
